I do. Thanks for the quote. Few people expressed truth as boldly as him.

That quote is absolutely correct, but you probably take it as an insult. Does being born again make you a successful human being? Yes according to God's standards, because being born again means that you put yourself to death and you live in the perfect righteousness of God. Thought we're not perfect yet on earth, our hearts now war against sin rather than embracing sin. Only someone who is born again will be able to successfully wage war on his own sins. Those who are not born again love their sins of lust, anger, covetousness, greed, pride, etc. This makes them complete failures, because the purpose of Man is to reflect God accurately. You are mis-representing God if you embrace sin, because God hates sin in an infinite measure.

So those who love to be perverts, to be rapists in their minds, to be murders in their hearts, to be self seeking in greed, probably hate Jerry Falwell, because he was an advocate against such filthy behavior.

But those who are Christian respect the boldness of a man who will stand up for the truth of God's word. It's interesting Jesus said "Blessed are you when men cast insults at you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account of Me."

So by posting this post, you are in fact adding another jewel to Jerry's crown in heaven. Isn't that ironic.

Can't say that I miss him at all. I do however think Tammy Fay made a better impact on people than Mr. Falwell!
Remember Leroy Jenkins...lol

Oh...we nevertheless have Pat Robertson. We merely exceeded considered one of his end of the international dates in April. in accordance to him, God keeps on telling him to do all varieties of strange crap. My favourite grew to become into God telling him to run for president. i assume God wanted old Pat to look like an entire ***. Jerry grew to become into too vast of a dick to care.

What if I was just a christian that didn't have to be born again? Would I still be a failure?

Not I, mon ami, not I. He was wearing thin as a source of comedy when he karked it. I'm wholeheartedly in agreement with Christopher Hitchens - "if you gave Falwell an enema, you could bury him in a matchbox."

Not in the least. This country is much better off without the likes of him!

Who misses him? No one I know of.
He hardly spoke for God he just spoke to get rich and he did and he had his pharisee time on earth and doubt if he is in God's memory to come back either.
He wasn't that good the first time around.

I honestly don't miss him personally. But I am empathetic to the family's loss and wish he was still around for their sake.

Not me. In fact, he died on my 21st birthday. I just hope the hokey "6,000 year old universe" stuff taught at Liberty University will come to an end.
