I am 40, I have been giving Israel anout $8 per year tax and interest free for about 25 of those years.

And to call me anti-semitic is an insult when it was my grandfather that was there in Germany in WWII that helped to free and save those that were imprisoned in the death camps. He gfought and killed many nazi's and among some of the first to get to the camps in western Germany. If anything you owe my family some gratitude as well.

Also - I hate the person that invented the damned cell phone. While I use one it is out of pure necessity for work. I absolutely hate that we can't live without them.

The Economy of Israel is 100 Billion dollars and that is more than all of our neighbors combined (The US is giving a lot of money to Iraq. Do you want that money back too?)

Israel is the only country in the world that entered the 21st century with a net gain in trees (not bad for a rocky piece of hot desert huh?)

Do you use a computer? The Pentium chip and Windows NT were both invented in Israel.

We were the first to develop and use large scale solar panels for energy

For the same reason that Europe shall in all probability not recognize a Somali State created by force of arms, by illegal immigrants in Switzerland. Think about it .. Its ludicrous.. The Europeans had a War, which resulted in a bunch of Jews getting killed (for better or worse). The Europeans felt guilty but didn't want to keep the Jews in Europe and so sent them along to the middle-east, and said "live here... on someone else's country". Bizarre It was the French and Germans who were busy killing Jews .. and even the Russians, Brits and Americans were pretty complicit well into the mid-40s. The whole Western world was more or less responsible but the Arabs ...who have nothing to do with it ...have to pay... Israel should in fact be in Europe (perhaps somewhere like Alsace) ... Although as a thought experiment it would be interesting to see how long it would have lasted if its neighbors could stand up for themselves. If Israel today is anything to go by the Germans/French (or whomsoever was unfortunate enough) would have started killing them all over again after a few years.. which is why they happen to be occupying Palestine these days .. simply because Palestinians can't kill them ... No-one else in the would tolerate this kind of BS for a minute.. but the Palestinians are labeled as "terrorists" for their efforts.. and meager attempts at maintaining some modicum of human dignity. Secondly...Although Israel is recognized by the various US client states in the region, (for fear of being sanctioned, bombed or regime change) it is the purported State of Israel (with help from the US and other criminals) which refuses to recognize and blocks recognition of Palestine. The Palestine/Israel situation might indeed have worked out in a bona-fide sense ..owing the large population of indigenous Arab.Middle Eastern Jews who have been living happily with the Muslims and Christians for centuries. The problem is that "European and American" Jews are absolutely imperialist, thieving, racist, murderous scum and may well be the source of all human misfortune and as long as they're in the equation the only outcome can be war, chaos and suffering. Furthermore Stalin made a little country for them .. which still exists .. they can move there..

Feivel- You gave a great answer. I can't say it better. Israel is a wonderful country with many beneficial developments for the world. Go lobby congress. While you're at it, tell them we want our money back that we hand over to Egypt, Palestine, iraq, Germany, etc. I gues as individuals we would be rich if we didn't waste our money on Palestine, since they take the money and buy weapons against Israel. Oh yeah (duh) by the way, if Palestine stops attacking and killing Israelis, then Israel will not have to retaliate.

Israel does get support from America - and why shouldn't she? She's one tiny nation, the size of New Jersey, and she's been alone at the forefront of terrorism for decades now.

And FYI - perhaps American politicians are trying to make up for the fact that they refused entry to the Jews desperately trying to escape Nazi Germany during WW2.

And if they are trying to make amends, that's fine by me.

Congratulation. You just got your wish. Seventy-five cents of every dollar we give to Israel must be spent in the USA. How much of the BILLIONS spent daily in Iraq will ever return to the USA?

How do you feel about Iran having nuclear weapons? No one is in a better position to take them out than our Number 1 ally, Israel. They would have had them long ago if Israel wasn't there on the "front line."

Judging from the avatar you selected, I can't imagine you contributed much to the number of tax dollars that went over there. But regardless, if you think you can get congress to agree to stop aid and demand old aid back feel free. I don't see it happening, but devoting more of your energy to that would mean less trolling so give it a go.
