i heard it many times, it seems that it is pronounced as
double u, is it correct? and the tongue touches the roof once for the ''L''?

pls tell me the correct way to pronounce it if i am wrong.

It depends what part of America you live in . People have different accents. The people in the south like Texas would pronounce it as Dubya. Like George Dubya Bush.

Yes this is correct, although the tongue will normally touch the roof of the mouth in order to say`` Double U`` quite naturally.

The shape your mouth makes is "oo-uh," but with fast motion. It's not exactly an "uh" sound, but you make a small circle with your lips and then relax them.
