my boyfriend is wanting to get a tattoo with my name. the problem is that my name is sissy. my real name is sissy. he dont want that in normal font bc he dont want ne one thinking he is a sissy. i sugested another lag. the problem is we dont no ne other laguage that sissy could look nice as....can sum one suggest or show me examples of another lag. to try?

Do it in Hebrew. It won't look like any thing anybody has ever seen. And it is sort of a rebel thing to do because Jews don't believe in tattoos. Sorry I don't have that language font to show you what it would look like, but I guarantee nobody would be able to translate it unless they spoke Hebrew.

I read Japanese and some Chinese and some of my most fun days are when I find people with nonsense tattoos that they think are so great :)
And whatever translation you get, you better check long and hard with at least 10 trustworthy professional translators.
Your particular word is asking for trouble if mistranslated - it could be as bad in other languages as it is in English - is that what you want for your BF? do yo really want to worry if everyone that ever laughs near him i the rest of his life is snickering because his arm says "I am a fag" in Thai or Devanagari or Gaelic (all beautiful scripts by the way)?
I've seen it a zillion times in Chinese and Japanese here in America, and I have seen similar English nonsense on hip Japanese kids in Japan.
If he loves you, have him get a picture of you :)

Go to about.com. They have Chinese name translations on there. they do have yours, I know for a fact because I just looked. It turns out to be only 2 Chinese characters and no one will know what it says unless they can speak and read Chinese.
