I am a Christian. A Baptist. I'm looking to see how many other Baptists and Christians are on this site. Are you trying to witness for Christ? Are you using you opportunities?? Having you been telling them how to get saved? What is your goal in life? Do you think that main reason we're here is to serve God? It should be. What have YOU done for Him, when He's done soooo much for us???

God never turns his back on us.

Yesterday I prayed for an interpretation of a dream someone had posted on here and felt that God gave me something. I gave God the credit and submitted the interpretation.

He picked someone else as best answer yet in his comment about the other answer said that my answer was absolutely right on but that he was an atheist.

It sounded to me like he was at least thinking about God, so even if there's no fruit today, I don't mind being a seed-planter or a seedling-waterer. We just have to be faithful and continually look for opportunities to share how real God is.

Amen, Sister!
A Christian who doesn't go out of his way to share the Good News may be committing the unpardonable sin! When you don't show God in you, then you may want to ask if God really IS in you!

but the really important part is Hell. The Bible says that most people will go to Hell... It's our job to literally - as Baptists - scare the Hell out of them, so they will learn to love Jesus.

and they need to be Baptised afterwards, or they will go to Hell and burn forever, and then be annihilated with Satan after a thousand years, or so.

I tell everyone I meet that they're probably going to Hell, but that they can stop that if they believe that there's a God and His name is Jesus Christ (who is His own Son) and that they should love Him - and do it NOW! Because they could die tomorrow and it will have been to late.

I tell them to bypass reason and logic and just try to make the gospel story sound really emotional and great, and it usually works!

If I can't get 'em with fear, i CAN get them with emotions!

Keep up the good works, sister!

I am Catholic and Christian
Anyone who believes the Trinitarian Creeds is a believing Christian in the area of doctrine
Anyone who lives by grace the Beatitudes of Jesus as Lord and Savior is existentially a Christian
Anyone who rejects the morality of the New Testament is not a Christian in the moral/ethical sense.

I witness to Christ and give people interested the testimony of my life and I witness to everybody by my behavior. If I do not live the joyful repentent life of one commited to the trinity and Jesus Love and Commandments then I am a poor witness. I think I am using the opportunities but perhaps the Lord will reveal more and more effective ways.

My goal in life is to live in,with, for and by Jesus and His Grace. and to persevere in grace until death and live with Jesus and His own in Heaven

You are so right that we are here to serve God and to love Him first and fully and to live with Him forever in the next life.

All I can do for Jesus is to cooperate with His grace and grow in obedience to Him in faith, hope, love and thanksgiving.

I'll answer this one - I don't do much as far as witnessing, I live a happy life and I am a happy person, I am a Christian through and through but I'm not the best, obviously no one his perfect but him. My goal in life is to get my Masters Degree, get married, and have children. I don't need a lot of money just enough to be comfortable. The reason we're on this Earth is to serve God and show his love for everyone through our lives. I don't do as much as I should and I know that, it's up to me to change that.

I'm a fundamental Baptist but, I don't agree with some of them. I don't agree with Landmark Baptists, nor Baptist briders, nor successionists, nor Southern Baptists. I preach the gospel to whoever wants to hear it!

I was and I did but He pretty much turned his back on me so no Im not and I don't. I was in church twice on Sun plus sun. school and adult training. I was there on wed. I went soulwinning on Thurs. and I was the church maintenance man. But nothing ever goes well for me and my prayers went ignored so I'm done. In addition to the backbiting and gossip. I refuse to set foot in another church. Peace and love,

I believe similarly to you, but preaching like that is seldom an effective method of persuasion, especially at R&S.
