It's been called a Chenowith, Chenoweth, DPV (Desert Patrol Vehicle), FAV (Fast Attack Vehicle) but can't find one to buy in the UK.
It looks like a suped up dune buggy with gun turrets!!
It's 3 Seats, looks like a VW engine in the back but probably GM.
Anyone know where I can get one from in the UK? Or even buy and ship from the states if the rates are good!!
Hope someone out there knows!

Here in the UK there's no such licence, I've had a couple of classic army trucks. I had an Austin K9, a Bedford RL fire engine and an ex RAF crew bus. I'm not sure where you live, or what the regulations are but with the current financial climate I'd expect that the manufacturer would be happy to sell you a military spec vehicle (since they're allowed to be privately owned when second hand I see no reason why not when new - unless there's some law about it there). Obviously you wouldn't be able to have guns, military markings or military number plates but in all other respects it's just another vehicle. In the UK it's not illegal to own a tank so long as the gun(s) have been permenently disabled - they often fill the barrel with brass - I know there's a place near Chichester that sells them sometimes (or there was 15 years ago). We have enthusiasts rallies here where everyone goes with their vehicles.

I'm a bit out of touch with the V.W. scene but there used to be a V.W specialist in the Birmingham area called Kingfisher Customs who were as far as I know Chenowth Dealers.
These are basically 'sand rails' as the're called in the 'States'
that have been 'militarised' these can use a number of engine configurations.I've seen them with Chevy V8's!
I've driven one with a mildly tuned 1600cc VW and it was a riot!
