If you look at your temporary, you will see that it says it is good for 180 days. There is good reason for this. It can take a long time to get anything back from DMV. If fact, for a used car, the dealer has up to 50 days just to send in the initial paperwork to DMV. That does not account for any second or third submissions of paperwork, or processing time by DMV.

I would say give it at least 2 months before you start inquiring about the registration and stickers. And if after that time you go to DMV to ask, they might be able to tell you if more paperwork is needed from the dealer, or if the reg has already been mailed. But DMV will probably just refer you back to the dealer.

Technically they say 30 days, but it usually doesn't take that long. Give it one more week, that's why those temporary stickers are good for 30 days. If you don't get them by then, go to the DMV to get the temp extended and to see if the dealer actually sent in the fees

Perhaps California is different but, in most States, the title is sent to the owner and then taken to the DMV to register it and obtain plates. Getting the title may take a month and thats the reason for temp tags.

they are going to say the subjects have been preexisting and that they are no longer to blame for subjects the motor vehicle had ahead of buying the coverage. The broker is going to disclaim accountability for the maintenance.
