My boys dad don't come get them when it is his weekend some time, and they get an altitude with me. If they only knew that i be mad too. They take things out on me and give a hard time when he don't do what he say, I was tring to find something to do with them on the weekends to past away time. I found myself running out of things.

My son loves camping, going to the movies, and zoo. Depending on their ages their are so many things you can do with them. Search for activities in your area. Have an official movie night where you gorge out on snacks and watch their favorite movies. Just things that show them how much you care about them;-)

Hey Lesa, I am in the same situattion. I also have 2 boys ages 8 and 10. Keeping them happy and occupied is a challenge. We spend our weekends at the park, my 10 year old is teaching me how to play football, and my 8 year old is showing me all about the playstation. If it is nasty out, we spend the day in the kitchen cooking. I have even learned how to playdough. At night I bring my big mattress in the livingroom and we all pile in to watch their favorite movies and snack all night. It doesnt help to ease their pain, but it is good boding time for us. I also let my boys know that it is ok to be angry and voice their opinion, but that they should be respectful of me. If you have watched all of your dvd's try trading off with a friend. Have you thought of letting each boy bring home a friend for the weekend? We also take hikes thru the woods. Hope this helps! Just remember that to have fun, it doesnt take money, just creativity.

I see you've already bought a cowboy hat. Now, find your boys some hats and go horseback riding together. Or, put your western wear on, and go to a local rodeo! Your sons and you will love it. There's never a dull moment.
