Nope. They didn't have the knowledge of good and evil until after they ate the fruit. Like Someone Who Cares said, they didn't even know they were naked.

Why would God use that method to increase the population when he can create a fully formed human in a day? Childbirth is our way of reproducing and it is far less efficient than God's way.

No, I highly doubt it. Remember they did not even know they were naked before they partook of the fruit, so how could they even know how to have children.
