Firstly, I agree with you on the point that you say that, "Perfection may not be required by striving towards self correction is!" That's very true!

Second, we are NOT exhibiting love by condemning ANY people, whether they be gay, straight, atheist, catholic, ANYONE! But, we should not tolerate their beliefs. When we have the chance, we should witness to them, tell them the truth. Always remember to be Christ-like in what you say and do though, never say unkind or irrational things.

Thirdly, if we do NOT love as Jesus wanted us to love, we ARE wrong, but that changes absolutely NOTHING about Him being our Savior! Jesus died for us, when in reality, he didn't have to! He could've called a million angels down from Heaven to save Him from a terrible death, but He didn't, He CHOSE to die for our sins, it changes nothing, though it grieves His heart.
Hope I helped! =]

Both he was sent to save us through teaching (and example)
every thing actually taught by Jesus can only benefit the entire human race all his words were of love tolerance and compassion for all and were spoken with humility and without pride (where pride means thinking ones self above or better than any other person )if ll people followed this example no matter what their personal faith ,the world would be at peace
if your quote mk7.21-23 is the truth then by reason the opposite must also be the truth and all good must also come from with in
being saved by Jesus doesn`t mean accepting his name it means accepting all that he was and all that he taught if there are hateful evil thoughts and feelings inside a person Jesus`s love isn`t in their heart and soul and they have not accepted him, by the nature of Jesus he can only be alive in a soul filled with love
of course he can be considered a savour ,it only means he isn`t the saviour of people who hate and condemn because like the Bible says "they don`t see him or know him" in other words they are hypocrites to themselves

He is both. A savior and a teacher. He taught us many things while on earth and He is still teaching believers today by His Holy Spirit. You said perfection is not required but striving towards self correction is, and you are right. We cannot be perfect by our own actions and the only reason we are saved is because of what Jesus did and not what we did. However, do we have the right to tell someone that they are wrong and are on the wrong path. Anyone who does not believe in Jesus is on the wrong path. Atheists and gays are on the wrong path, they desire to fill their own lustful pleasures and not do the will of the Lord, that is why they will not give their life to Christ. They want to continue in their sin and pride. If they do not turn to the Lord Jesus they will be brought to destruction for they have denied the glorious salvation God offers us in Jesus Christ. God bless.

It is said that Jesus is PROPHET, PRIEST, AND KING. We ought not condemn anyone, regardless of who they are or what they do with their life. Nothing we do or don't do can change the fact that Christ came to save sinners. That is an accomplished fact. Christ was also a Teacher. Christ is all in all. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end of all things. Christians are in stages of growth and maturity.....they will always be learning how to more closely follow their Saviour. We must not judge, but let Christ be the Judge.......He judges fairly and perfectly!

I think you may be confusing condemning people with condemning sin. You can be for a person, as a person and love them without condoning the life style. Christians aren't just walking blindly. There are things we must recognize as unacceptable to God to guard our spirit.

No one likes to think that they have sinned. Then they are forced to have to deal with it. But the Bible says: that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". That is why Jesus came into the world. To offer Himself as a sacrifice. He died, went into Hell, suffered judgement and dealth with death and then arose, revealed Himself, ministered and went back to Heaven with the promise that He would return. He went through all of it for man. So then when we repent, the price has been paid.

It is NOT a license to continue in sin, rather it is a gift freely given to have victory over sin and death.

Christ tells it like it is. No, being gay and and Atheist isn't a good thing. Christians, walking in the Spirit, will call something out and reveal it for what it is. The Holy spirit gives us certain insight over time, if we guard our spirit.

There is a war going on in the spiritual rhelm all of the time. Getting people to fight over nit-picky political jargon is only a distraction from what is really going on.

What matters is where you personally stand with God, not what someone elses opinion is. But you had better do some serious soul-searching before you run out of time....What ever choice you make you will be responsible for.

number 1 he is our savior - number 2 he is also our teacher.
No one can be perfect - just Christ

If we truly adhere to his teachings and commandments we will not condemn anyone, however, If the question arises (re heaven & hell and who will go there) we are at liberty to answer in our own opinion and should not be labled as condemning. We are to love others. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love is the blanket over everything we believe. We are to love the atheists but we don't have to agree with them.

Thank you very much for the tone & intent of your question! Finally... You've actually paid attention to Jesus' teachings and are an appropriate example of what a Christian should be. "Loving". A tiny word, given what it's attempting to describe...

It breaks my heart, the way Jesus' is so often used as a devisive tool; an excuse to judge, attack, and condemn others. -- Jesus didn't judge. He didn't attack. He didn't condemn. -- He did rebuke people, on occassion... but, inevitably, the decidion was theirs; whether to consider his rebuke & change their behaviours.

I could comment at length on the three scriptures you've quoted. Rather than doing that, I'll just invite other people to really consider what you've selected, in the context of your question. Well done, and thanks.

He is our Saviour who also taught us the most beautiful doctrine ever given to mankind.
With reagard to your question about gays and atheists , remember that Christ spoke about trees that produce rotten fruits and explicitly condemned sinful things and Saint Paul gave us a list of those who will not enter the kingdom of God. So, we exhibit love by being against SIN and loving SINNERS. BY hating ATHEISM and loving atheists and praying for them . By hating HOMOSEXUALITY but at the same time praying that the Lord may touch the heart of those who have fallen into that sin.

1--> 2----> 3--------> 4---------------> Mercy and Forgiveness 5--------> 6----> 7--> It is the righteousness of Christ that makes the humble sinner acceptable to God and works his justification. However sinful has been your life, if you believe in Jesus as your personal Saviour, you stand before God in the spotless robes of Christ's imputed righteousness. Look at the cross of Calvary. It is a standing pledge of the boundless love, the measureless mercy, of the heavenly Father. His love, he has shown, was stronger than death. He was accomplishing man's salvation: and although he had the most fearful conflict with the powers of darkness, yet amid it all, his love decreased not, but grew stronger and stronger.

Really people, are you that narrow minded. How do you know what "truth" is. By reading a book that tells you to. Look, all religions should be based on basic principles. Love, Trust, and Non-judge mental. Who defines what love is? Love is within you, no matter who thinks it is right or wrong. if you condemn anyone, you have no faith. The bible is not there for you to place judgment. it is guidance, and following it to the "T" makes you ingornant. You should be open to all religions until you know truly what they are about, not what others tell you or what you are raised to believe. Read about other religions and then decide. I was raised Catholic, forced to go to Church every Sunday. Now I look back at all the things my family drilled into my head, and realize:
I don't know enough about other religions to say that they are not better than what I was raised with. I have taken it upon myself to read up on different types of religions and make my own opinions
