You have to exercise to lose weight. Any fasting or fad diets will only make you lose the essential vitamins in your body and make you ill. Eat properly. Just cut out the cr@p.

.and no, its not healthy either. If you wanna do a cleansing fast then yes, it will get the toxics out of your body but it is for that purpose only, not to lose weight.
.you will have to read up on a proper fasting "plan" if you ever consider doing it... the right way!.

How long have you been on doing this so far? You're going to find that you're hungry and tired very quickly. You might lose a little bit of fat but not much. Once your calories fall below 1200 a day you body will shut down to defend itself and will be working against you. Anything you lose will be more muscle tissue than fat and eventually you'll end up binging to try and replace the nutrients you've missed. That usually means junk food so you'll end up heavier than when you started...and future weight control will be almost impossible..good luck

It just won't work.
You'll lose water weight, which may make you lighter on the scales but it won't change the way you look at all.
Apart from the fact that your lack of vitimins will give you spots, your skin will probably become very dry and irritable, and you'll get very cold from your lack of energy.
I suggest you eat a good breakfast, sensible lunch, and light dinner every day, with fruit for snacks in between; drink lots of water and walk whenever possible.
That way you'll lose weight sensibly, and with relatively quick (but healthy) results.
I.e.
Breakfast: Porridge with a bit of sugar/jam. Porridge has slow releasing energy so will keep you full for ages.
Or you could have wholemeal toast, since the wholemeal outershell of the grain will also release energy slowly.
Lunch: Jacket potato with protein and salad.
Dinner: Grilled chicken breat with lightly roasted vegetables and salad (light dressing, if wanted).
Eat fruit/vitimin-rich snacks in between meals.

In addition to the good points made by the people above, it will actually make you fatter in the long run. You will drop some weight, but at the same time it will slow your metabolism down to meet your current food intake. Then when you eat again your metabolism will remain slow making the breakdown of foods to the energy slower and less productive. Because of this you will become more likely to be fatter after you fast.

Not really. Your body needs nutrients that it's not going to get, and once you come off the fast either you will be sick or the weight is going to just bounce right back on you.
Eating fruits is good. But don't forget the other vegetables and proteins.

No, thats the worst thing to do if u wanna lose weight. I'm trying to tone and lose sum weight too, but u HAVE to eat in order to do that. Jus make sure ur food is healthy, and its ok to have a treat once in a while. But if ur gonna go on a diet...think of it as a lyfestyle choice to eat healthy and get fit...cuz if u thnk of it as a diet it'll get worse and harder to exercise and stay focused on ur goal u kno? trust me, im in the process of it now...and its workin out pretty well.

I lived on fresh milk for 3 weeks in March 2002 and reduced from 86Kg to 70Kg. It's Sept 2007 now and I'm still 70Kg and healthy as ever.

You're body won't be getting the nutrients it needs to function by only eating fruits and drinking water.You need to include all the food groups in order to stay healthy
