Okay.. I haven't been to a religious meeting in a while but soon as I need help I pray. I try to pray to just say thanks but I have to remember to that but soon as im in a jiffy I just pray ... "plz let this work...plz blah plz roer" and so on. How bout you? God, higher being, rock, bead..yah?

I never can think of good titels for my questions. I think the prayer helps ..even if it doesn't. I was just wondering if others pray without even thinking about it... it just happens automatically.

I try not to just ask for things, but to give thanks and praise to God as well. My prayer time when it's at is best is a time for us to just be together, not just a time where I'm asking for things.

prayer does help it is designed to allow humans to communicate with God but it's designed also so God can answer your prayers you just have to repent so that God can actually hear the prayer even though he hears it he can't answer it unless you repent you can also worship God through prayer God will answer your prayers if it's in His will for your life and He answers prayer right on-time!!

I used to ask god to do wondrous things to help people, ailing people mostly, but he failed and I stopped. Now I'm an Atheist and he doesn't exist.
