right for a U.S. citizen to own and use a gun?

If God won't take you, remind him that he has been overruled by the Constitution of the United States. Even God can't fight the Constitution.

The United States Rules. God Follows. (As it has been ever since the U.S. found it could use religion to justify whatever it wants to do).

You have even heard Bush doing it on television.

Great question. I'm laughing with you at some of the over the top answers here from people who haven't read your question properly and miss the point. Fantastic analogy and argument for secularism even though it's going over many people's heads. I guess if god still says no they could try to sue :)

Yikes, is this the best our public schools are producing now?

The U.S. Constitution (not Constition) does not guarantee the right to own and use a gun. The Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights gives us the right to own a gun and defend our lives, our property and our freedom from invaders.

Instead of pulling facts out of the air, why don't you actually try READING the constitution and the bible, then you might actually appear educated enough to ask such a question.

Uh.... ok, you can try that.

Lessee...

- Applicability- a dead person is not a citizen of the US anymore, so I doubt their soul is covered by the Constitution

- Jurisdiction- the Constitution would not apply to non-American territory, like heaven.

- Precedent- the Bible is older then the Constitution, so outside of national borders, it would apply.

- Heaven is a dictatorship, not a constitutional rule, so again- it does not apply.

- Killing someone is not an automatic ticket to hell, so this may be a non-issue.

- Even in the US, gun ownership is not permission to kill- which is sort of the trump card here. Even if you take the other arguements away, this still means you loose.

That is only in the minds of the pharisees and self righteous and arrogant men.
To say the constitution over rules the 10 commandments is not only a joke but a sin.
Thou shalt not kill no matter what the governments tell you to do.

Just becasue you own a gun doesn't mean that you are destened to kill someone.

and just becasue the constitution guarentees our right ot bear arms doesn't mean that the US is to blame for all the deaths caused by guns. That is a personal fault. The constitution is not abouve the 10 commandments!

If one is taught correctly how to use a gun, you learn that you are never to kill a person, if someone is in your home trying to kill you, you take him down, disarm him, if you have to shoot him in the process, do so but NEVER kill him. If you do kill someone, If you are sincere about repenting, you will be forgiven. ANYTHING if forgivable if you are sorry in your heart.

The phrase is that state militias have the "right to bear arms". No one has challenge gun control based on the US Constitution.

There are state and federal laws regarding gun an shootings. It is for the legal system to decide who to prosecute.

It is quite clear in the bible that Jesus stated "He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword". That applies to guns.

Your reasoning is chalk full of phallacies.

If there is a God, He is not governed by any man made laws. I don't know where you are getting "Even God can't fight the Constitution" but you clearly aren't familiar with the concept of a God.

Additionally, the justification to attack Iraq was WMDs. They weren't there, so there wasn't any good justification, but the government never claimed we were going to war for religious reasons. To the contrary, the concept of "jihad" or holy war is one that comes from Islam.

Many nations have gone to war in the name of religion, when in fact, the real motivation was natural resources.

Get your facts straight buddy.

A humorous question, but the point is moot as there is no evidence that a cosmic hobgoblin such as god exists or is needed to explain how the universe was formed and/or functions today. Likewise, there is no credible evidence to support the obsolete notion of life after death.

So now you're claiming that every gun owner in the U.S. will kill someone?

Get a grip.
