You must first of all understand the Christian Zionists. I grew up in South Africa and they are everywhere here. There belief system is quite different from ours (Normal Pentecostal believers). They are not considered the same type of Christian here in RSA, for they still have a lot of rituals, some even go as far by classifying them a sect. Therefore to comeback to your question and keeping the above information in mind, maybe the Zionist believes that there must be some kind of Abrahamic war, but for the rest of us Christians definitely not. Christians do not believe in war and is definitely not something that we pray for.
I do not know if this Zion Sect is the same as oversees, that is why I am talking under correction.

Rove, the second coming of Christ will happen when it happens, without assistance or interference from anyone or anything. You'll see it on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and every other news outlet on the planet. The Bible says that "All flesh shall see it together."

You don't know me, and you don't know where you heard this.

There was a popular saying amongst certain members of previous administrations: The road to Jerusalem leads through Babylon.

If you are familiar with the current popular interpretations of the writings of John the Revelator, go and consider what that would mean.

Not this one. My support for Israel/the Jewish people is mainly based on the promise that God will bless those who bless them. I think it's vital that Israel remain under Jewish control so that prophecies that Jesus would return to Israel will be fulfilled. Though the wars will occur, I know of no prophecy indicating that they had to occur in order for Jesus to return.

Of course not... The Lord says to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

No Christian prays for war.
