If you're happy, they're happy, and you all get on well, it doesn't matter if you're 26 or 46!
My eldest son is 26, and left home a year ago, to live with his girlfriend..............they live 3 doors away from me! We all get on very well.
My other son is 23 and lives at home. I love having him here, and he gets his washing and ironing done, food provided, and pays £150 monthly board, so he's happy too!

No, not if you're only living there because you can't afford a place of your own. I'm 26 and that's the only reason why I'm still living at home (the house/flat prices in Northern Ireland, where I live, are horrific). I'm trying to save up for my own place but if I won the Lottery, I'd be away ASAP.

That depends on your reasons for living at home. If you are there just for the sake of living there and have a good job that you could support yourself on, then yes, its time to move out. If, however, you are going to school, trying to get on your feet or are otherwise disabled somehow and need help, then no you are not.

It depends. If you are studying for an advanced degree, no. If you are just starting a career, no. If you make enough to live on your own, yes you are too old. If you have children, yes you are too old to live at home.

Yes, I think so.
Anyone over the age of 20 should be out living their lives in the real world. It's nice and safe living with mummy and daddy, as they take most of the responsibility.
Know a guy who is still living with his parents at 40. He has sooo lost out on life. It's like he is still 15. A sad way to exist, I think.

Yes. You should, yourself, want your own space and life to be responsible for. That applies even if you are going to school... unless money completely dictates that you can't afford to both support yourself and afford your degree.
