That's an impossible question, no offense. How are you defining it? Immigrants,second generation, 1/2, 1/4, etc.? Which nations are you identifying as Hispanic?

That's like trying to count the number of Italians, Russians, Koreans, etc. Myself, I'm 9 nationalities - do I count as 9 different people & things?

I have a solution, lets just call all citizens Americans. Period.

OK, many refer to South, Central American as Hispanics. They are actually of Hispanic origin (very old word for SPAIN was Hispania) but not Spanish they are south Americans or central Americans. There is A BIG difference between Spaniards (Europeans)and South/Central Americans. Yes, there are some similarities because of Spaniards that settle in those parts of America. Not trying to offend anyone but people needs to learn the difference. Now, I understand you might be talking about the Americas side, correct? well, it's very hard to tell the number because of the many ILLEGAL ones, but I believe they are pretty much taking over the US.
