I've been eating cous cous once a week but probably more than the recomended portion, will it make me fat? Can I eat it like rice as I read it's high in protein.

It's great food so no will not make you fat. However the thing with couscous is what you have with it LOL So see about healthy ways to accompany your couscous, from roasted vegetables to grilled meat and roasted vegetables and what not. And in a salad ... Use lemon juice. it gives it a tangy taste if diluted with a tiny amount of olive oil and herbs of course.

Anything in excess will make you gain weight. It's a great alternative to some other carbs, but too much of it is still too many calories. If you really want a whole grain that's high in protein and great for you, get some quinoa. It's so good and so healthy. But again, not too much, because it still has calories.

Cous cous is just durum wheat (same as pasta!) It's pretty healthy really.

not really, it's a processed food item. I would consume it in limited quantities as it's not naturally occurring...
