we've been in laws for 2 yrs now and known each other for 2 yrs also. And i want to say that i love her like a sister but i keep chocking on it.so far i tries to tell my bro but i keep chockin to. so far im thinking is to do do it on a christmas card and say how i feel.

I don't think it is lame. I grew up without sisters and my two sister in laws took me in as their little sister. One sister in law I am very close to and I make sure I tell her in her birthday and Christmas cards that she is like a real sister to me and I am lucky to have her. Just write her a little note in your next card she will appreciate it as I am sure the feelings are mutual!

Cards are great for saying things we cannot say out loud in real life. If you get a card, be sure to underline the words that have the most meaning. That way she'll know you read the words and bought the card because of them. And she'll also know you really mean it. She'll appreciate it.

Whats the big deal? Just say love ya on the phone, during a laugh etc. Is she a Mom? On Mothers Day give her a card and say I love ya like a sister... I mean sounds more like you LOVE love her to be so nervous about it....

yeah what's the big deal?!..i've seen almost all your questions and it all concern about your sister in law....im just curious yah know...i'm beginning to think that you really like her and you're desperate to tell and show it to her...
this is really tough....well, for me i think doing it on a christmas card is a good idea...you should also give her a very unique gift, what gift i don't know, but you should give her something special...something that no one else has thought of giving to her....and after giving that something special, try to tell it her that you love her, as long as you tell her AFTER giving the gift....
i don't know if this helped...just be yourself when she's around....

HOw wonderful for you! Meet for lunch, a trip to the mall, etc... then just tell her "I am so thankful to have you in my family. I think of you as a sister and I love you like one too!!!" I think it would probably mean more if you told her instead of sending a card.

On her birthday why don't you send her a b-day card with happy b-day sister.You can add your on quotation marks before and after the word sister.("sister")
