He's 55 and has always lived with my parents. Hardly ever worked. Has ocd, and a really bad attitude. My mother died in 94 and my dad had a complete breakdown a yr later. My brother had my dad sign everything over to him, house cd's bank accounts ect. There was a will i saw in 84 that everything would be split equally. He took advantage of dads illnes and dad died in 2005. Brother was a mamas boy and she also had mental problems. He has no friends, sees things only in black and white, if you don't agree with him, your wrong. He hates everyone and is so tight with his (Dad's) money. Still wears clothes he had for over 20 yrs with holes in them. I haven't spoken to him in a yr and don't want to. he's afraid of germs and washes clothes in pinesol. Just thinking of him makes me sick. So what do you think of big brother? The song, Mother by Pink Floyd comes to mind for me.

Wow, is all I can say!! Don't blame ya one bit for not liking him.... not many people would. It's kinda weird though that he is so crazy with the germ thing, and washes his clothes in pine sol, but is still wearing ratty old shirts with holes in them from 20 years ago?!?! He obviously doesn't care to have any sort of companionship, so let him be a miserable old man!

I may be wrong, but I see all that kind of behavior as extreme left brain (hemisphere) thinking. He probably doesn't trust his intuition, hiself, his deeper feeling. Emotional Intelligence would be helpful, it seems to me. EI helps you reach deeper emotions and relate to people and ideas better. It brings out you inner genius. Genuis is proving to be a mental attitude or correct use of modern understanding of how to use your mind. lol Emotions twist our reasoning unless we understand what all that is about. I hope you will look at some completely free material on it at www. trans4mind. com. Many of us are concerned about the course society is taking and just want to get the information out that science in finding today. You might like this ten minute video on youtube about the problem and the new attitude that will change it, the new mind shift, a new direction. This is just an introduction, there is so much more out there these days. It seems that under the pressures of moder life and life in general, he shifted down in thinking and got unstuck. He needs a whole new attitde and the technology is there now to do it. Science to the resque. Didn't you just know they could do anything, when they set their minds to it? Emotional Intelligence could probably get you out of the family mindset and even get you into a position to help him and help anyone around you. Lord knows we need helpers. We have many emotionally needy negative people to carry. Do you get the point, though, that emotions act in the background to make thinking clearly, clearly impossible anymore than we can weigh something accurately with a finger on the scale or if we sit on it? lol

Your brother needs professional help. I believe there is medication for OCD. He probably won't listen to you but some how somebody has to get through to him. Maybe try to research information on the internet about OCD and options for help. I wish I knew more to help. I feel for you. Good Luck.

sounds like a total flake!!! Best u keep away from him, and he should have been institutionalised. The courts should have realized he was crazy and not let him have ANY money. I'd keep away from him, just because I don't like crazy people.
