Yes.
The reason: To "loved and lost" will hurt, for a while. But hopefully, you'll have learned something and you'll have some good memories of fun times (if the "loved" was a decent person). Then you find someone new who fills you with happiness.
But, when you've "never loved at all", you constantly hurt. There is an emptiness that can't be filled. You wonder "what is wrong with me? Why won't anyone give me a chance?" (And no, sometimes the answers are not obvious.)

Having loved, I'd have to say yes. Someone who hadn't experienced it may feel differently...or someone who felt greater pain at the loss than they did pleasure from the love.

Yes, very much so. There is no other feeling in the world like love. If and or when it ends we shouldn't mourn that it ended but rejoice that it ever began.

I do agree. It is better to have "loved" and lost, than to have
never loved at all.
(one better)
It is better to have had "someone to love," than to
"never have had, no one to love at all."
Grown up as an "orphin." I have learned a "deeper meaning."
I hope you understand.
So, love the family, you "do have,"
and the family, you "will have." <}:-})
Thanks for the question, so I could give "the honest answer."

I totally disagree with that saying, a breakup can screw your head up for months...... even years, if you were quite content before the breakup then it definatley wasnt worth it. The only good thing to come of it is you become more wise to it all,

Absolutely. Just because you lose someone shouldn't discount all of the great times you had together!
