yoghurt for breakfast. If I understand correctly, the bran has been removed from wheat germ, correct...? Anybody ever experience a laxative efect from wheat germ...?

It is soluable fiber so it will help regulate your BM's. I hide it in foods because my kids don't like it toasted. I put some into the pancake/waffle batter, cake batter, cookie batter, biscuits, muffins and other things to make sure they are getting enough fiber in their diet. If you are also eating other whole grains you should be fine. If you are noticing a loose stool, it is probably as a result of eating too much sugar and overly processed food and not from the wheat germ.
