i want to learn a foreign language but i am a little confused about which language can have a upper hand....plz suggest me..

Well that depends. In official EU matters, for example, French and German is much more dominant than Spanish. But if you live in Southern Californa then Spanish might be more useful.

In order - Chinese ( mandarin ) which is used throughout the government and business - ( cantonese ) is the more common and does not serve you if you want chinese to advance you in your career - 2 ) French 3) Spanish

It depends on where you live. Most people go with Spanish, and in my opinion it is one of the most useful. It's somewhat easy to learn, and it can come in handy more often than most.
