Happier. Every see the Simpsons where Lionel Hutz imagined a world without lawyers and he invisioned people off all countries holding hands and dancing in a hppy circle? That's what I think the world will be like. For one thing, the New York sky line would be like it was 7 years ago.

I also think that if the world, especially the US, gets anymore obsessed with it, the US will be like that of England in V for Vendetta

That's not to say that the world would be better if no one believed in God...just because there is no organized religion doesn't mean we can't stop believing in God. It appears some people cannot grasp that idea.

Organized religion had a purpose at some time in our history, and to those in power it still does today. The world would be entirely different. Land control and our current political maps could be entirely different. America as it is, may not even exist. Religion, the greatest catalyst is to thank/blame for some of the greatest and worst actions in civilized human history. In the beginning before the advent of socialized education, organised religion could have truly served a beneful purpose. But if it were discarded once we had recognized that it truly does not represent existence as it truly is, I believe that we could possibly be farther along in many advancements. The inclusion of absolute morals and the war between morality and technological advancement is appauling.

Religion is organised? They cant work out what to believe in first, let alone organise thier following. Christians aparently dont like jews or jewdaism, yet they honour the 'king of the jews'. In religion, who is right? They each say "our god/s is/are the only one that exist. Every other religion is wrong" Some religions believe in a god, some believe in multipule gods and others say there is no god. I can say this, if there was no religion then there wouldnt be as much conflict, arguments, disagreements or fighting. This is my view on things (coming from a 16 year old) I myself was brought up as an athiest by my family.

Much farther advanced . Religion has taken up time , money , brain power , real estate , that could have been used to improve the living standards of the people.

I don't know...but I'd hate to be in the back of an ambulance and have the driver be on the lookout for "Atheist General Hospital"

Cedar's Sinai, Little Company of Mary, Good Samaritan, Glendale Adventist, Queen of Angels, St. Joseph - check.

You do the math.

Even the great minds of atheists have feared what the world would be like with no religion. Could you imagine billions of people living without any fear whatsoever of eternal consequence? it would be a bloodbath!!! Look at the 20th century, it was the bloodiest of all in known history that had nothing to do with religion. How much worse would it be without a voice of reason? ICK!!

REally bad assumption and narrow and selective view of history!

Far, far, behind. Why shouldn't we kill people? Without some substance behind a persons existence, then who cares if their killed. And who said that stealing is wrong? Most of our laws come from the bible, and those that don't can be simplified by 1 of the 10 commandments.
