That is funny. And a Costco/Sam's Club sized whoopass I might add. But if you are perfect, wanted a perfect world, and had the ability to genuinely know a person's heart, wouldn't you lay some whoopass on those who may ruin it for others. If so, then how can we judge God, the author and perfect creator, to do otherwise. What many may perceive as damaging, is trying to make a loving world. Help the orphans, widows, the poor. What's wrong with that? There's not enough of it frankly. But we all make mistakes. And God is unconditionally loving to give us countless chances. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind. Love your neighbor as you do yourself. Then God won't lay a can of whoopass on you. :-)

With your idea,a God must be the largest producer of A to Z in this universe and that's more like a business Tycoon than a figure of Divinity. It's unfair on our part to hold one entity responsible, accountable, answerable and therefore lovable/hatable for everything in this universe and even beyond. And then we keep talking about being Fair. It's not done.Let's think again.
