i know this guy who is a really nice respectable guy...he has a girlfriend and says he isnt the cheating kind...well we have become pretty close and i have developed feelings for him and i think he may like me too..of course i would never want him to cheat on his gf with me...but i was just wondering what guys usually think about in these situations...what do they do when this happens?
him and his gf dont seem to be extremely close, but then again i wouldnt know...he says she is smart but thats the only good thing he has ever said about her

I've been in this same situation before, and trust me, you don't want to get involved. All I'm saying is that is he cheats, you will realize his true character. If he's a real man, and he does have feelings for you, he will talk to his gf and tell her he has feelings for someone else. Cheating is never a good attribute to have...no matter what the circumstances, and what if later on down the line, he cheats on you with someone else? I would stay clear until you know for sure where his intentions lie.

He isnt the cheating kind. You think he may like you too --- Im analysing this two sentences you wrote... The 1st one -- It seems, he already disclosed to you that he will never like another girl than his GF (unless he is just pretending).... 2nd sentence--- you only think-- he never tell you exactly that he has feelings for you... Maybe, try to put a little distance between your closeness w/ him.... for all you know he will miss you & tell what he feel for you... Since you never want him to cheat on his gf & for your own sake.....you'll be the 1st to cry if he realized or pick her gf rather than you... Guys are born polygamous (well there are always exception to the the rule)... the more the merrier for them...
They dont think about what will happen after... they are just dancing w/ the music.... come what may... i dont think he will do anything... he will just stare when two girls fight because of him...

I would leave this dude alone, seriously. I mean its ok to be friends with someone, but lets be honest here, when have we heard of a story such as this one where the two friends dont end up in bed???
Those so called "developed" feelings shouldnt be developing at all. You know the rules, KARMA IS A MUTHA F*CKA so dont open pandora's box with this dude.
