I see so many describe themselves this way. Who is this great chinese philosopher that we in the west are so ignorant of?

Xi'an is the capital of Shaanxi province in China

Xi'an is also renowned for being the eastern terminus of the Silk Road and for the location of the Terracotta Army made during the Qin Dynasty.

I thought that was an abbreviation for "pedestrian". I didn't know it was referring to a Chinese guy.
