I found two websites that may help you on your problem. The first one seems better, though:

Yes. If you truly like her, then your first priority as far as she's concerned is to see her be happy. It may hurt a lot, I understand about the friend part. I've been in the same situation. I liked a guy for a long time, and he asked one of my friends out. She actually asked me if it was ok with me, and I said of course. Even though I couldn't be with him, at least he would be happy with my friend, and she would be happy with him. So let them have their happiness for now, and be happy for them. Someday you'll have your own chance at happiness. :)

She sounds like an awful person to me. Try your best to get over her, I guess. I know that it is hard when you love someone this much, but what they say is true. When you love someone, you let them go, and see if they come back to you. Start flirting with some of her friends and let her see how it feels. Act like you are over her even though you may not be. That is really all that you can do. Good Luck.....!

Happiness comes from inside a person... someone outside of you can brighten your day or you can feel temporarily happy or sad because of them.

Depending on someone else for your happiness isn't healthy. And, if your girlfriend turns you down (? i didn't really understand this), and you are unhappy about it, talk to her i guess?

or break up...

Well its my guess that based on what you say above that she might no be as interested in you as you are in her. Maybe its time to let her go if she's hurting you that way, you want someone who will care for you and appreciate what you do for her.
Best of luck friend

Yes, it's the right thing to do. That shows her that you truly cared about her, and you weren't with her just to be with someone... if she does know that you truly did care about her, you have a chance of her coming back.

yes.. because if you really like her, you would sacrifice your own feelings for her own happiness... cause you become happy when she is happy...
