I am guessing that this is a first date. I never like going to a movie on a first date because you can't talk. You should take every opportunity on the date to get to know the person. Keep conversation flowing by asking the person a lot of questions about themselves. Try not to sound like a detective when asking these questions and be very interested in the answers and incorporate some of your life and things about yourself along the way. Find out how much you have in common. Excuse yourself by telling him/her that you will be right back that you need to use the restroom.

You could take him to dinner? But if that won't fly here's a pretty bulletproof chicken dish that takes no skill and little effort. Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless. A little olive oil, maybe two tablespoons. Salt and Pepper. Juice of a lemon two or three garlic cloves minced (you can omit this if you don't like garlic) a few very small rosemary sprigs or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary (be careful with rosemary, it's very strong) Put everything but the chicken in a casserole dish that has a cover, add the chicken and swirl it around and turn it over a few times so the bottom of the casserole and the pieces of chicken are coated with the oil mixture You can add a pat of butter cut into small pieces on top if you like. Bake at 350 in a preheated oven til the chicken is done, usually about 1/2 hour. Check it by cutting into the thickest part of a chicken breast to be sure it isn't pink in the middle. Your casserole dish should be just big enough for the chicken breasts to lie flat without crowding. Note that this does not brown the chicken at all, but it still tastes delicious. If you start your oven 20 minutes or so early, you can also bake scrubbed potatoes, but start them 20 minutes before you put the chicken in. With a fresh, crisp, green salad this is a nice, simple, super easy dinner. It's something I make when I'm reallybusy because it takes only a couple minutes to get everything into the casserole dish, then I can ignore it til it's time to eat. Don't forget the nice table setting with flowers and candles. Some sort of sexy dessert (ice cream and chocolate sauce is pretty sexy) can top off the evening.

You can feel out the way the date is going by the convo in the care on your way there or while buying the tickets. You can purchase the tix with her and you will then see how much time u want to spend talking to her. Besides it is better to have a like 1.5 hr dinner or shorted depending on the time it takes for u to order n eat, this way if the time is cut short but u see it is a hit u can always take her to a martini bar OR coffee shop after to talk some more.
It is always better to no have enough time & keep us wanting a 2nd date than u get stuck with a boring *** girl that makes u want to pull ur skin off.
The bathroom, now just b cool and cute u know b down to earth. I always say, Oh excuse me I need to powder my nose or I will take my call in the ladies room. U can say excuse I'm going to the lil boys room, smile & walk away u know b playful. Good Luck!!!!!!!

1) Allow 2 hours for dinner.
2) When you want to use the restroom, simply say 'excuse me, while I go to the restroom' (or something like that).
It's not that big a thing, so don't make it an issue.

I like giving an hour to eat and then hit the movie. If you get to the movies early you have a chance to talk a little before it starts. When you gotta take care of your business -just say excuse me, I'll be right back. Everyone has to go to the bathroom, it's really no big deal. I did have this one boyfriend that went EVERYWHERE we went (I think he was checking to make sure his hair was okay) so one day I started talking to the guy next to me at the bar....that was the end of the bathroom bandit!

1) Figure 2 hours for dinner, longer if on a weekend dinner time.
2) "Excuse me for a moment". No explanation needed and if the other party asks, they are too crass for me to worry about the second date, there won't be one.

Dinner usually takes about an hour to an hour and a half - depends on the service and how quickly you make up your mind on what to have.
You can just say "Excuse me, I'll be back in a moment."
