Let's compare XBOX 360 and PS3 (I won't talk about Wii, coz it's really slow thing - for kids).

PS3 has 8 kernels in Cell processor, Xbox 360 -only 3x2
PS3 uses advanced tech called Blu-Ray, one disc can store up to 50 gb (in the future - up to 200 gb), Xbox 360 - regular DVD (4.7 gb).

PS3 has full media support - USBs, built-in card reader (except 20 gb version), ability to use printer and so on.
Xbox 360 has USBs and only 2 memory slots.

PS3 - wi-fi included (except 20 gb version)
Xbox 360 - wi-fi will cost you around 130 $

Xbox 360 is widely known for so-called "red ring of doom" problem - it gets overheated easily. My PS3 was running for more than 8 hours non-stop with no problems. Sometimes Xbox 360 becomes so overheated, that thermopaste on CPU melts, drips on motherboard and successfully shortcircuits it.

Besides all of this, I've seen disassembled Xbox 360 - regular PC architecture - Billy Gates is a uninventive nerd (as usual).
When I saw disassembled PS3 - it was a surprise - smart architecture, good cooling (don't buy external PS3 coolers - they make everything worse - original system is good), etc.

In some countries people call Xbox 360 "Coffin 360".

ps3 has better graphics but wii is more active if u wan be more active get a wii if u want to sit down, relax with good graphics and better games (especially for teenagers and adults) get a ps3

k i said this once il say it again its about opinion i say wii but ur oppinion is ur choice wii is vertual psp is not do u like really driving in a car race or do u like using ur thubs do u like holding on to a trigger and letting go of the button to fling the bowling ball or do u like actualy putting ur musscle into the swing do u like sitting on ur butt getting fat becouse of u just sitting pushing a button or do u like getting up getting exercise while ur doing somthing getting up pushing ur arm to its extent moving to different areas of ur body trying to win a race while exercising even thoe it will hurt for a week but u know it will stop after that week and instead of gaining 5 kgs u will loos 5 kgs do u want i a real game or a game for a p u ssy that only fat people that are so tryed from bowling a ball 3 times when me or u can do 50 its a ineditable way to finish this talk answer my question of witch game do u like and the answer will be my answer thank u for ur time

PS3 is way mo betta

Wii gets old...I have one that I loved for the first 3 months or so, then I got bored with it. As it stands now, I haven't turned it on in over a month.

depends what kind of games u like-

ps3-basically ps2 games with very detailed graphics not much games out rite now, expensive, bulky but can play blu-ray

wii-small, portable, cheap, fun games, game cube graphics, many fun games from game cube, still a lot coming out, innovative
