Let's face it ,no one wants a new house to double in price. A three dollar tomatoe ??? it's not that Americans wont Do the work , it's that they are not the lowest bidder in this free market society we have. If all the Illegal immigrants were to leave our economy would tank !! Plain and simple fact.....
Build a wall - ever seen a wall in history that worked !!! Ever been to the Rio Grand border - It's beautiful... A wall won't work. They recently changed car tag and car insurance laws here in Ga. where no green card - no tag. No insurance - no tag. Well alot went to surronding states to register thei vehicles or just drop insurance all togerther - Now we have more serious problems do to that law !!! What if the children are legal ( born here ) and one or more parents are "illegal". What do we do. How will the jails be able to hold them until the understaffed Immigration office gets bus there to transport them - sounds expensive to me. Plain and simple are economy cannot AFFORD to lose them or can we AFFORD forcing them out - lose / lose situation. I just applied for and got my passport - 6 months !!! I had no idea the gov't. run passport buerau had so many problems... Most and I mean most assine experience of my life !!! It got so bad that my Senator and Congressman could not help. They had the same phone # as I did. They had an excess / backlog of passport issues of over 200 !!! Now you want to get Immigrants a federal I. d - I dont' think so. Make them legal - thats what they want , they will come running. But the passport issue I ran into cannot support this influx. Fix that and I think you have an exceptable solution or ALL>

Times change and we with time, but there are times that what worked best should have remained in force.
Now with that let me explain what I just said- Look in the history books as to how the government worked with immigration, and what was expected of the people coming to the United States. The American citizen at that time ( should be the same now) weren't willing to support these people by giving them loans, housing, jobs, etc., change information into the language of the country they came from so they could live here comfortable without any efforts on their part.
The US Government or should it be said Politics has put us in this state of affairs and doesn't know how or willing to go about changing the way it needs to be done. We are entering a time now when the English language will become the secondary language of the United States, because others see fit to allow people of different languages to dictate what needs and will be done in the United States. At one time, Highways, Buildings, Roadways, Airports, etc. were named in memories of people lost because of one thing or another. We now are faced with people wanting or demanding to change names of streets, cities, towns, shopping areas, etc. because of their beliefs or of a name from their country they came from. It should be said and maintained this is American if you don't like what's here and our ways, you have the same right to leave as the same way you arrived.
Yes, the U.S. is made up of people that came from different countries, but talk to someone of 80 years or older that can tell you what they did when the arrived in the United States, it wasn't like the large numbers that we have to support while our older American folk that need help can't get. AMEN

the government and the law need to enter the resturants and the local stores and even the hospitals and start bringing bus's with them and haul them all away that donot have proper paperwork with them.. I mean we as us citizens are required to carry our license and social security cards with us.. and we do have some knowledge of our history.. have the police question these people on certain matters of the government local or state and they cannot answer in english and have the proper paper work with them they get on the bus and go back to the border or the boat.. even the children that were born here but their parents arent legal or the ones that are legal with illegal children send them all back,,,

I feel our government has no problem will legal immigration. It is the illegals we are having problems with. We need to stop hiring, housing and catering to them completely. Stop selling Spanish foods in the grocery stores. When they have children here they should not be legal and the families need to be sent back to Mexico the day they leave the hospital. When they jump the borders and get caught they need to be permanently marked so we know they are.

1. Close the borders
2. Process all those whose paperwork is pending (no letting anyone skip ahead in line - there are people who have been waiting years to get legal and have done it all the right way).
3. Remove all those unwilling to do what it takes to be here legally

I don't think the group of people that caused the problem should be in charge of fixing it.

We need to establish a plan for citizenship for the current immigrants and then establish a plan for future immigrants to gain employment and citizenship.
