I hear microderm abrasion works an I know that the skin cream mederma works fairly well over a few months. I cant afford laser surgery but I want to be a fashion model one day. I just need to know if there is a way to cover them for a long time or lessen them in a short period of time. Will sunless tanner help me? If you need to see my skin color my myspace is :

I had microderma for stretch marks and they faded after the full 10 session series. they are still there (there is no real cure for stretch marks except for surgical removal) but less visible.
Here is what happens: . By removing the top layer of the epidermis, this non-surgical procedure stimulates collagen production and speeds up the skin renewal process. This way, even though is doesn’t reach the dermis, professional in-office microderma abrasion treatments can diminish the appearance of stretch marks with as much as 75%. The treatment can be performed in combination with other forms of treatment, like topical cocoa creams and radiofrequency sessions. Diet helps also!

The majority of the creams used to treat stretch marks cannot treat the baggy, loose skin left after your baby is born. It could be hereditary, or even because of your skin type. The reasons stretch marks form are not really known. We know that genetics aid in whether a pregnant women will get stretch marks, but skin type, skin condition, and nutrition also fit into the equation.

Another way to treat your stretch marks is by laser surgery. This surgery takes place over a series of expensive sessions, but is the most successful way to get rid of your stretch marks. The laser removes the damaged layers of skin, and helps the new growth of collagen which fixes broken skin tissue. This in turn helps heal the stretch marks.
