No. 1 Your children are not making you Fat. They are tempting you, but it is your choice to say yes or no.
No. 2 I have to question the fact that you say you have been on a strong diet for seven years. It would seem that you would be more disciplined and educated about nutrition.
No. 3 Sorry if it seems like i'm beating you up. So now let's look at some solutions for you.
No. 1 Contact your child's school and suggest a healthier alternative to the Cakes and Buns.
No. 2 When you know that these snacks are coming find out how many calories you would have to burn off to indulge in the delite. Then Burn off those calories. Chances are you won't want to eat that junk after a hard workout.
No. 3 Find Low Fat or Fat Free receipts and with your children experiment together. This would be good for all of you.
No. 4 Take a positive action.
No. 5 As soon as you finish reading this responce, walk away from your computer and do some sort of exercises for 30 minutes.
No. 6 Repeat No. 5
Good Luck to you and your children

I think you should do what you feel. If you feel like not eating it, tell them. Quit using them as an excuse. Especially if you have been doing this diet for 7 years.

stock up on fat free pudding and when your child comes home with cupcakes, break out a pudding. And light yogurt is good too, or frozen yogurt and sherbert.

Talk to your child about your dietary needs and explain why you can't eat what she has been baking. She needs to learn that not everyone can eat everything.
