sounds like strep throat if so you need to see your doc for antibiotics.

Sounds like the flu. Cough medicine with a cough supressant, Tylenol, and plenty of fluids should help you out. Get plenty of rest. If the sore throat persists I would see the Doc because you may have Strep Throat and in that cause you would need an anti-biotic. Good luck.

if you started with a sore throat and a lot of nasal drainage, it probably just a regular run of the mill cold. try 1000 mg of vitamin c each day, hot showers, lots of fluid, fresh fruits, and rest. sudafed will clear up the drainage.

if you started with just a sore throat, it sounds like strep that has gotten worse. bronchitis doesn't always come with a fever but strep always does. either way, you'll need antibitotics from your doctor. if you let strep go for too long, it can turn into scarlett fever and that can screw up your heart so do it now.

You may have caught a cold or strep throat. Do you see white blotches or spots on the tonsils at the back of your throat, or white areas at the back of your throat? If so, you may have strep. In either case, you may have a bad head cold.
You could play around with over the counter cold med's, but frankly, just go see your doctor and get it over in one shot.
If you have strep, you don't want to necessarily wait that out. Go see your doctor and get to feeling better.

No one can tell you without seeing you and running a throat culture. You could have strep throat and bronchitis. Both are contagious. Strep can spread to other organs.

Go to a doctor!!

Please take care of yourself.

It could be anything from an influenza virus to a strep infection to acute bronchitis. But since it has been over a week, and a fever's present, at least call your doctor, and see what he recomends.

the flu and pneumonia have been reported like crazy lately, because of the crazy weather. you might have either, go to the Dr and start an antibiotic, you'll feel much better.

It sounds very familiar. When this was going on with me, it was a cold or I had the flue. Rest, lots of fluids during this time.
