.....is some strange king of sea slug when I was in china. it looked a bit like a rusty relative of broccoli, and still had its guts in - bit like salty and fishy custard.........yum

Oh, had duck tongues and deer penis when there as well, but they were OK.

Mountain Oysters (Cow Balls)....I got tricked into that one, but they were ok, not awesome like steak...... my Uncle BBQ'd them

Pork Chitterlings(intestines), My mom tried to raise me like a good little southern girl but I must have been switched at birth because I sat eating a biscuit for dinner many times as my southern family dined on Hog brains & scrambled eggs,pickled pigs feet, hogs head souse. Rooster fries(balls)Just to name a few.

Had Beef Brain Fritters once and they were horrible but not nearly as bad as your sea slug.

I had canned smoked whale meat once when I was in college. I have to tell you it has been 35 years and I get nauseous just thinking of it.

I didn't eat this but my dad had menudo while we were in Mexico. I don't really know what it is but he said it was soup with cow intestines!!! I think there are different kinds of menduo.

alligator is awful -- don't let anyone try the "tastes like chicken" thing. its kind of like chewing on an eraser -- the big ones rectangle ones that you use in art and drafting. you chew and chew and chew and you can't swallow and the taste is kind of cloying and grows in your mouth because its so hard to swallow. so its always good to be ready to spit it out.

While I was in China I ate.....

Fried Scorpion - crunchy like a potato chip
bird brains - it was boiled so it was a little mushy
boiled snake eyes - yuck...nasty
cat - not bad
dog - not bad
