If god is real and has the power to see, know and do anything and everthing, then when why does he stand by and watch children starving, suffering and being killed all around the world and do nothing?

If i could do something about it i would, so why doesn't he.

Does it amuse him.

OR COULD IT BE THAT HE DOESN'T EXIST.

I agree with you 100%. I was brought up strict catholic, went to church every sunday and at the time believed in god. Once i left home and entered the real world i started to change my mind about things. I often have heated arguments with my dad about this but like i said i am an adult now and can make my own mind up. When i look at children who have been beaten, abused, starved, and raped, then i feel if he is there looking down on all of us, why does he allow this to go on. When my mum got cancer that totally made my mind up, she is the most honest kindest person in the world so why her and not some pervert or murderer. If god exists then why do the innocent have to suffer. All the wars are over religion, how many gods are there as everyone seems to think that their god is the real god, maybe there is no god.

I don't see how you perceive that God has been standing by and letting children -- anybody for that matter -- to suffer.

People are the Custodians of this world with the link to God. It is through the soul, mind, thoughts and actions of the custodians that God operates (there are other operations but these are beyond comprehension to most people.). These Custodians have the gift of knowledge -- agriculture, medicine, science, .... - which is sufficiently abundant to nourish, house and treat the needy and those who are destitute in other ways. God has acted to protect the children, through our divinity, however, the custodians, whom God has entrusted and empowered remain trapped in the original sin -- they think and believe that the divine gifts are something of their own doing, and hence, embellish themselves and create false idols in an ignorance of the source of the gift.

God has been acting, but the custodians have turned their faces away from God, and Our children suffer.

Never say that God has not acted in the best interests of His creation.

People seem to think that God will reach down and physically pluck a person out of harms way like a hand reaching out of the sky and gently lifting a cotton ball.

God reaches down through the soul, into the mind and enlightens our intellect thus providing Us with the knowledge that will instruct and direct for the proper life..

We the Custodians apply the divine.

The problem is with us, not with God.

The Creator has been, is doing, and always will act in our best interests.

We just don't understand because we are unable and unwilling to humble ourselves by attributing divine knowledge to God and turn our faces to God.

We prefer big house, big prizes, big pleasure over our divine nature.

It is really quite saddening.

everybody is announcing that God is in basic terms made up by ability of human beings. ok... That makes me mad. i do no longer like it whilst human beings say that approximately my dad! think of approximately it, as an atheist you suspect that no person loves you because of the fact one guy or woman named Charles Darwin says so and which you have been by threat created! Ugh... the sorrowful difficulty is that God loves you! even once you're so propose to him :( sure he has emotions too!! How could you like it if some one improve into telling those which you're a fraud??! He loves you no count what you do, yet in the top he supplies us all unfastened will, we choose how we might desire to stay whether it ability completely ignoring him. So stable success residing believing which you have not got any reason to stay. i admire god he's my terrific pal. do no longer permit everybody turn you faraway from god ( even those reviews on a working laptop or pc with human beings hiding in the back of a reveal screen filling their minds with fake information) bye

Actually - the natural world fits a God model of multiple Gods, all with human personalities including the 'negatives' (pride, greed etc).

So in fact we are pawns in a theistic sopa opera! Wow, that fits better than a single psychotic schizophrenic uber-dictator!

Bring back the Greek Gods!! Olympus rules.

(at least their mythology is a bit more entertaining!)

Regardless of whether I believe in god or not, is it not the fault of the human race that these things happen? Surely it makes sense that if some have everything, others will have nothing. Surely then, if we are the cause we are the remedy. Only we can resolve these things. I am not a religious person, I have my own set of beliefs and follow no religion, I do however feel people pick and choose when they believe/dismiss god. Surely if you don't believe in a god, you have answered your own question, there is no god, and therefore we are the only ones that can save ourselves.

god only exists as a tool to control the masses(you and me) i rejected the idea at a very early age and was made to stand for hours on end against a big cross and that was in the 80s so what does that tell you about religion and progress bast*rds i hate them all

I vote for 3 as well, or 2 bacause I like the idea that all the religious are right about God existing but way off the mark about his benevolence.

Americans throw away leftover food from their table every day with enough to feed the starving children of the world many times over.God does not interfere with mans' actions If something is wrong God gets the blame. If something is good, God gets ignored .Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to Gods' mercy

Doesn't necessarily stack up he doesn't exist. We know he is very judgemental, so no doubt we are to blame for the Earths starving not him. I think it said somewhere he doesn't interfere.

Also, logically he's not going to think deaths such a big deal anyhow as the poor starving children may be going to live with him anyhow.

Or Could it be that you don't understand his action because you don't see the whole picture? GOD does permit wickedness, and millions on earth willfully make a practice of it. For instance, they declare wars, drop bombs on children, scorch the earth, and cause famines. Millions smoke and get lung cancer, practice adultery and get sexually transmitted diseases, use alcohol to excess and get cirrhosis of the liver, and so on. Such people do not truly want all wickedness stopped. They only want the penalties for it eliminated. When they reap what they have sown, they cry out, “Why me?” And they blame God, as Proverbs 19:3 says: “A man’s own folly wrecks his life, and then he bears a grudge against the LORD.” (The New English Bible) And if God stopped their evildoing, they would protest their loss of freedom to do it!
Jehovah’s main reason for permitting evil is to answer Satan’s challenge. Satan the Devil said that God could not put men on earth who would be true to Him under test. (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-10) Jehovah allows Satan to remain to have opportunity to prove his challenge. (Exodus 9:16) Satan continues to bring woes now, to turn men against God, as he tries to prove his challenge. (Revelation 12:12) However, Job kept integrity. So did Jesus. True Christians do now.-Job 27:5; 31:6; Matthew 4:1-11; 1 Peter 1:6, 7.
