i am 9stone 13 and im 14. i want to be just under 9 stone. can someone tel me how i can reach my goals as qick as possible? i go to a gym every sunday but they have nthing for toning tummys. i use a thing at home tha helps me with my sit-ups but i really want to lose weight aswell. im also starting to play netball at school.

I'm sorry but you can't lose a stone in one month. A stone is 14 pounds...the maximum safe weight loss is 2 pounds per week, which would be 8 pounds a month.

Look at it another way. You have to burn or omit eating 3500 calories in order to lose one pound! So, to lose 14 pounds, you would need to lessen your intake over the month by 49,000 calories!

Just eat healthy, no junk food, no fried foods, no desserts. Exercise at least 30 minutes every other day and stay active. The weight will come off but come off in a healthy manner.

At 14, dieting should never be undertaken unless cleared by your doctor. You are either in or entering puberty so your dietary intake is important to maintain proper growth. You will grow taller yet and that will thin you out.
