Apologise if this sounds rude and i don't mean to be patronising, but is what you say true. The reason i ask because many people who are given a short time to live don't normally get the opportunity to do much because of the nature of their illness,i.e being in hospital facing chemo or radiotherapy in cases of cancer, and i have been with someone who was given 18 months to live and only survived for 6 months and he was in pain right till the end. If you are pain free, and have the money to do it, travel, see new places, meet people , tie up your affairs, apologise to anyone you may have upset and hug everyone and tell those you love how you feel.

Be as spontaneous as you can. Do the things that require the most energy NOW. Spend quality time with the ones you love.
Choose one dream you have had your whole life and make it a reality. Live each day to the fullest under the circumstances.
At the end of each day reflect on what made that day a special one.
I have heard that the spirit can make us live longer than expected. A friend of mine with metastatic breast cancer lived a very long time. It was her spirit that kept her going.
I hope you can find peace at this time.

Wow, I feel really sorry for you. If I were going to die in 6 months, here's what I would do:
1. I would tell everyone I know what I like about them.
2. I would probably go bungee jumping the week before I die

Sorry to hear that your so ill. Do what the doctor tell you to do, take the meds that have been prescribed to help you with pain and you may feel better. You probably have someone to take care of you, don't argue with them. Keep all your doctors appointments, even if you don't feel up to it. Most of all tell all your family and friends that you love them. Show them that you are doing what you can to stay here. And prove the doctors wrong, keep a positive attitude.

Talk to lots of people you don't know, some of them will have amazing stories to tell.
Call the zoo and ask if they are planning putting any big animals under anaesthetic and see if you can go in and stroke them and feel their breath on your hand.
Go to speakers corner and get lots off your chest.
Make a photo diary for those who love you.
Smile on your journey if you can, so many people never get to say to goodbye.

I assume that you have gotten a second and a third opinion on this. (You do not mention what it is you have, but I will take the stance that medicine has given up on you)
If so, then you must become fearless. You have nothing to lose, whether you leave us next week or next year.
If someone is a jerk, TELL THEM.
"Excuse me, sir or madam, as the case may be, but I did not ever remember giving you permission to treat me like something the cat barfed up. If you choose not to be decent, fine, but not on my watch, you slimy-sided, silt-eating, frog-mouthed toad."
Most folks will be too stunned to return a response and you will garner the admiration of those around you, constrained by societal rules

Get all your affairs in order, apologise to all family and friends about everythin wrong you've done to them.
Spend time with family, then have some fun time
Go try drugs, prostitutes, sky diving, everything that people wanna do but are too scared to.
I know i would, also i'd probably go travelling.

I have already thought about what I would do in that case.
I would like to die in combat!I am not a soldier or a fanatic, but I just wouldn't like to die of a disease. So my solution is this.Attack some bad guys.Become an avenger of crime! You'll get some of them before you die.If you're not sure who are the bad guys,go to Colombia. There's a lot of drug dealers there.

make a list of all the things you would like to do and work through it, you may find you can live longer than the six months you have been told, our friend was sent home 3 weeks before Christmas last year, and told he wouldn't make it to Christmas, he said to us that he had things he wanted to do first and passed away 3 weeks ago, it was the best 9 months we had he packed his days with all the things he wanted to do and took things day by day, but still had plans just in case, i hope your last days are great ones good luck honey,
