The telephone to my right has saved more people than Jesus.
Jack the Ripper saved more people than Jesus.
Indirectly... Jesus has condemned MILLIONS of people to be tortured to death.... though he wouldn't have condoned it personally. So the number of people he has "saved" is in vast negative figures..... making it a simple matter for any inanimate object to beat him at the saving game.

Lighthouses have saved people same as the ark that saved Noah and his family, they still have to die either way, the salvation in the bible goes all the way back to those born after Adam.
1cor.15:22-28; As in Adam all die even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Which is better, what has been to what will be or being wipped out all together with no chance at life at all?

Lighthouses haven't cause the complications resulting in holy wars and the death of millions, they just help ships to navigate. I don't think lighthouses have done much wrong.
Do religious people not understand that it is possible to be loved by someone you actually know?
I don't want the love of someone I will never have contact with.
As the saying goes, if Jesus came back we'd kill him again...

Christian organizations, such as the Salvation Army, the Red Cross (which was Christian in its origin), Samaritan's Purse, groups like Mother Theresa's Sister of Mercy, and many other Christian groups save more lives each day then have probably been saved by lighthouses in all of history.

Lighthouses were made by people, who in turn, were made by Jesus. So if someone sees the light (lol) they were saved by Jesus, weren't they? Except that is a fleeting moment and in order to be truly saved by Jesus you need to develope a relationship with Him...enjoy :-)

I don't recall reading anywhere about Jesus having a rotating light in his head, so I say that lighthouses have saved way more people.

Certainly they have. Think about it, what would happen to all the ships if they did not have a lighthouse to guide them?
