Paul created a "Gentile" version of the Jewish message of Jesus.
Paul introduced many pagan concepts into HIS religion to make it attractive to the people of that time.
Some scholars speculate that Rabbi Saul (St.Paul) sacrificed his life to make sure the "renegades" adopted polytheism (Trinity) and negated the divine laws (faith only)...... to make sure they would not be a threat to the Jews who did not accept Jesus.

Jesus Christ had a twofold ministry, my friend. He tells us in scripture that in His earthly ministry, He came "to the lost sheep of the House of Israel". This is the gospel of the circumcision, or the KINGDOM gospel to which you refer. This is JUDAISM...NOT Christianity. Jesus , in His earthly ministry to the Nation Israel, lived and taught the LAW OF MOSES.
What you dont seem to understand is that God talks about more than one gospel in the Bible. Gospel simply means "good news". The Kingdom Gospel , which had to do with God dealing with a NATION, has been SET ASIDE thru unbelief on the part of the NATION of Israel.
Enter Paul. And you are correct, he is NOT one of the 12. The 12 were given the responsibility to preach to "none but the JEWS only", as BELIEVING ISRAEL was to lead all other nations to God. The only problem was, Israel refused to accept their promised Messiah and KING. He only needed 12 apostles for that particular gospel.
Why Paul? Paul was commissioned, BY GOD the Bible tells us, to bring a new gospel (the gospel of the UNcircumcision, or the gospel of the GRACE of God) to a NEW CREATION (which was the formation of the Body of Christ comprised of believing jew and gentile alike) UNTIL Paul there WAS no Christianity...it was JUDAISM all the way.
Jesus Christ RISEN from the dead is the Christ WE follow. Paul is the appointed spokesman to we who are the church which is His body today, NOT Peter and the 12, or Jesus teaching while He was on the earth.
Jesus Christ DID know more about the subject, and thats why He tells us to STUDY the Bible and not just take a bit here and a bit there and make our own rendition of it.
God has two programs: One for the nation Israel, and one for we who are the church , which is His Body. These two programs are called DIFFERENT things in the scripture for a REASON...because they ARE different.
If you would like a free book explaining these differences to you so that you may better understand your Bible and Gods plan and purpose for you today, contact me.

The NT book of Hebrews gives the deepest theology of sacrifice for sins. PAUL DID NOT WRITE IT! The author is unknown! So give Paul a break and concentrate on the weightiest part of the NT regarding this subject.
You also need to get the big picture. Confining yourself to one single verse is equivalent to wearing blinkers and sunglasses on a dark day. The good news of the Kingdom is that the King of that Kingdom has come, releasing prisoners, giving sight to the blind (so you know where to go for that). He had to die sacrificially in order to do that. Paul took the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension of Christ and ran with it. Christ appeared personally to him to convert him. Paul knew more about sound theology in the fledgling church than anyone else and God used him mightily to protect those babes in Christ from being lured back into legalism. And everything Paul taught is utterly integral to the whole of scripture.

A) Jesus Himself said, "It is for this cause that I came into the world." Just what the heck do you think the GOOD NEWS (Gospel) was, twit?
B) Peter, James, John, ALL the Apostles accepted Paul as a legitimate Apostle and SAID so. CHECK out Acts.
C) For heaven's sake, if you people are gonna argue Scripture, at least be smart enough to check your source!!!

Paul was right and Jesus was right. The writers of the Bible were wholly inspired by God.
In Hosea, chapter 6 it is clearly talking about animal sacrifices, which did not forgive sin, but only pointed to Jesus Christ as the only true sacrifice. Jesus Christ came as Prophet, Priest and King to satisfy divine justice and reconcile us to God.

they both are experts. Paul was preaching what was ordained to him to preach from Jesus. The pat that says i will have mercy and not sacrifice is not talking about the sacrificing of Himself. This He had to do.
As far as Jesus preaching the Gospel, we have to understand what the "Gospel" is. to put it simply, the Gospel is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. It involves His death Burial and ressurection. As Paul, may not have been one of the original twelve Apostles, He was by far the Greatest of them. as He was one born out of due time.

Paul, it seems, has forgotten the first commandment:
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
He claims that people will be judged according to HIS gospel? Where did the scripture go at that point? Is he a bit overly ambitious?
When he claims possession of the gospel, does he take the Lord's name in vain?
This reminds me of Alexander Haig's famous slip:
"...I am in control..." LOL!!!

Sorry, but Jesus didn't found the Christian church. It was founded after his death. So, honestly, Paul is the better expert on Christianity. Jesus is still, however, the expert on how he would prefer us to live.
It is a shame that the 2 are largely incompatible.

Holy Scripture is Holy Scripture. If you are rejecting the writings of Paul, then you are rejecting the Bible. Who are you to do that? Did God speak directly to you recently and reveal which Scriptures are authentic and which are not? Or is your liberal professor at college your god?
