They don't eat, they only drink water and use a lot of cocaine...wait!! That happens to top models, not birds....

Seriously now: maybe it has something to do with the fact that they don't use their legs very much and that the legs would be an obstacle to their ability to fly it they were larger...

Their skinny legs make them more aerodynamic than they would be with thick ones.

And with such lightweight bodies they don't need a whole lot in the leg area to support themselves.

Plus they're funny lookin for us to laugh at ;]

Well, when you're a bird, it pays to be lightweight. Birds don't walk around that much, so they don't have massive leg muscles.

They don't do a lot of leg excercises like squats. If you really care, then give me some of what your taking.

Because if they have fat, big legs, it would be heavy for them to drag their legs and they wouldn't be able to fly high.
