my friend was 14 when he dated a 12 yrs old girl.. they kept dating but when it comes to 18 dates 16 .. it BECAME ILLEGAL? who did this stupid thing? they date but not in public eye now! i wish that the person who made this rule GOES TO HELL!!!

you can date its jus that technically they cant have sex because she is still a minor and he is not in the eyes of the law u can't legally make that decision until 17 so once she is 17 it would be fine but its quite alright my husband is 20 but im 19 and when he's 21 i'll still b 19 for 6 more mnths so techiniacly we had the same problem but it is ok

it depends, because some states the age of consent is actually 16, which would make it legal. But that refers to sex, not dating.

you can date anyone of any age. just sex is illegal inbritain for under 16s.
