I've liked the same guy for three going on four years. Even when I was involved with other guys I still liked this guy. I don't know what it is about him but I can't get rid of him. Do crushes last this long? Is it more then a crush? Just seeing him still makes my heart turn over. It was always bad timing before because he had a steady girlfriend but now he's single. He moved to my hometown and I just moved home. What do I do? Go after him or let go?

Go for it. Why don't you get in touch with him and ask him to go to lunch, coffe, or smoothie bar one day. Just tell him that you would like to catch up on what is going on since you last saw him.

Believe me, yes it can last for 3 years. One reason it can last that long is the feeling of never knowing what could have happened if you did get together, and still wanting to find out. Im in your situation. I've liked the same girl for the last 3 years (well almost 3 years) and never had the chance to get with her. Now that he's in your hometown...maybe you could start talking to him. Go for it.

i had a crush on someone for 8 years. he and i were friends and all, but we grew apart for almost the same reasons as u. i would just say to be careful if i were u bcuz u already have feelings invested in this guy. i would try to spend some one on one time with him and see how it goes. dont try anything with him that u havent done yet only bcuz if it doesnt go the way u plan it might ruin everything u had hoped for with him. good luck.

u should go after him. i think this is more than love. dont let the love of ur life run away. u been waiting for him for 3 year. dont let it go to waste. tell him how u feel about him. im sure a guy wont hurt a sweet girl heart becuz i know that i could never do that

im the same, except i have lasted for 5 years. there will always be that childhood crush that you can never shake off...I think you should go after him, because you don't want to go your whole life wondering what it would of been like to go out on a date with him. and who knows, maybe he has always secretly liked you too.

Start stalking him. Learn all his routines and follow him. Buy a telescope and spy on his house. Go through his garbage and find his bank card numbers, social security number, etc.
