Frozen sweetcorn is one of the few veggies that seem to freeze well. So I prefer frozen as it is so convenient and can be had any time of the year.
However corn on the cob dripping with butter is lovely and you cannot freeze that.

I always prefer fresh first and frozen next.
Especially corn on the cob, a good excuse for being messy and getting away with it.

Right off the stalk, the husk still on it. Sqirting juice on the cheeks.

Or grill it and brush on butter.

I've not eatten frozen corn for a long time.

Canned is pretty good to.

fresh corn on the cob, with butter, salt and pepper. Especially like the kind you get roasted at county fairs.

Fresh for me served with sour creme or mayonnaise. Especially with corn on the cob, it's the best.
