I have dated him for 8 months, he is a very intelligent man. We have about 3 years of difference i am almost 17 and he is 19. I swear we never had sex, i my self asked him once and he answered ''Not yet, for now lets just enjoy kissing and huggin each other'' the only sexually thing he has done to me is to perform oral sex on me but he has never allowed me to perform oral sex on him. We met in college. I really love him and think about him all the time. If you were my mother or father what would you think of this relationship? (now that you know what generally parents don't know or believe).

Seems normal enough to me - though I think most young couples would be having sex by your age. Having said that, that doesn't mean you should do it - only when you are ready. Some feel they are ready at 16, others at 20. You will know when it is the right time. Just make sure to be using condoms and birth control. Your man seems to be considerate and you should hang on to him. If I was in your parents position, I wouldn't be too worried, as long as you were happy and felt you could tell me if you were going to start having sex, so I could make sure you were being safe.

The age difference is no biggie.
Oral sex, however, is sex.
You guys are both pretty young. My advice would be to cool your jets a little and let some time elapse and see how you feel a year or two from now.
Don't rush into anything. The kind of love that makes a good marriage takes time to develop, and you probably aren't there yet. If you like him enjoy the experience.
It sounds like he's being fairly reasonable in his approach. You might want to cool things down a little in yours, however.

There isnt anything abnormal about your age difference. Your parents wouldn't think anything bad about him being two years older than you. In fact, your dad is probably older than your mom by a few years. (girls always go for older guys, guys always go for younger girls)
But I agree with the others...17 is kinda an early age to start doing oral sex....but I guess it was going to happen sometime or another.
(i find it strange he doesnt let you....some reason perhaps?)

well, it all depends. either he really cares about u or he needs his privates checked for something contagious. i would ask him why he was acting so shy about his 'manhood' and find out whats really going on. im glad to hear that u havent had sex but its a little unsettling that u seem to want to so bad. im only speaking from a parents point of view on that though. but if hes a virgin maybe hes just scared, and if hes not maybe he needs to go to a doctor. good luck.

i am in the same relationship and just about the same experience. i think its fine. me and my girl are gonna wait untill she is 18 or we are married. nothing is decided yet.
