The above link tells the history of the science of CO2 as a greenhouse gas and its contribution to global warming.
This is a must read for everyone that claims that
- Man made global warming is a conspiracy
- the computer models aren't reliable
- CO2 doesn't drive climate
- The theory is invented by Al Gore
- other silly arguments
Yes, it's a long read but if you can't take the time to read stories that debunk your arguments then you are just irresponsible deniers and your counter arguments don't deserve to be taken seriously.

Ooops, maybe they can't read... I hope I didn't embarrassed them now? lol.

No, I meant exactly what I wrote. I've read more arguments from the skeptics than I can count. Some of their arguments are still being evaluated, many are flaws and other arguments are just pure irresponsible lies. If the deniers just took an ounce of their time to research some of these claims they would soon find out about this. But they don't. They just continue to spread false rumours. That's denial, not skeptisism and it makes me angry and frustrated!

Baaah, thanks to Mr Jello I realized a big mistake I did. I linked to the section describing the history after 1988. I did intend to link to the beginning of the story which is more important:
http://www.aip.org/history/climate/co2.htm
PLEASE use this link or scroll up to the beginning of the story to read.
I never knew I could actually be helped by a denier like Mr Jello and since you bothered to open the link maybe I should start to take you seriously from now on? :-)
Here's the right link again: http://www.aip.org/history/climate/co2.htm
B t w, I've never said that CO2 rised before temperatures did in the past. But it's a fact that they also can drive temperature. You can read more about it in the link.
Also lately you (Mr Jello) have started to add links to support your claims. That's impressing and a big step forward. :-)
