I'm 18, I'm slim and I'm nicer than most girls these days. I don't go out for the bad boys type, I don't go to clubs or bars or whatever. People outside compliment me saying I look pretty, gorgeous and they even compliment my outfits too. One guy said "sexy" in front of my face when I walked yesterday. Yet... no one ever asks me out? Why is that? It seems like everyone has a bf/gf so easily, yet I can never get one. :(

Do you ever talk to guys?

Pick out some you like and try to strike up a conversation with them. Drop a few hints. Is there a movie you'd like to see? How about a dance you'd like to go to?

Pick nice guys. Most men enjoy talking with attractive women and you should have no problem getting them to talk to you. Uhh, it helps a lot if you can carry on an intelligent conversation.

Guys like to talk about cars, sports, and girls.

You sound like you are reasonably bright. Just act that way when you talk to the guys and you might be surprised how well things will go.

By the way, you are easily young enough to be my granddaughter--if I had a granddaughter. But I'd talk to you and if I were near your age I'd probably ask you out. I always liked pretty, shy girls.

You are young, sound lovely, and in too much of a hurry to tie yourself down to one boy/man.
You have lots of time to have a bf. You just continue to be the wonderful young woman you sound like. A bf will come when the time is right.

Someone once said that girls were like apples on a tree. the best apples are on the top, but all the boys are afraid to climb up in case they fall and hurt themselves. Instead they pick the rotten apples on the bottom. All the apples on top wonder why they don't have love, and lower themselves to the bottom of the tree to get a boyfriend.
Don't make that mistake! Hang in there. Some day a brave boy will climb to the top of the tree and sweep you off your feet.

Be patient, don't rush things up. What's the point of having a bf/gf without him/her loving you. The right one will come, you just have to wait.

its one of these things or a combination

1. you are actually ugly and they just say those things to make you feel better.
2. you are not as nice a person as you say you are
3. you are unlucky

if what you say is correct then its number 3 and your time + the right man will come, if your lying well your ugly or a ***** cant do much about either of those.

It's because boys mature slower and later than girls. That's definitely a big part of it. ;)
