so my WHOLE life ive been attracted to older men my last bf was 32 im 22, recently ive become attracted to a 21 is this normal? can i move past the age difference? i just belive a male should be older than a female, its a turn off when there younger, but hes really nice n funny n hott. HELP he still lives at home n is in school though.

It is very strange how many people use age as a determining factor in dating. Why is this? I can only think of a few reasons at the moment maturity and money. And they might be correct if such things only came with age. Age doesn't necessarily determine ones wisdom/maturity or success. You have to get this information for yourself.
If the current 21 yr old guy isn't as accomplished as you'd like him to be, then move on. And if it is a turn off that he is younger, why are you asking for advice?
He might have a ways to go before he is better off financially, but he is making that effort by attending college (assuming "school" is college).

I used to date decade older guys too, until I found that dating guys close to my own age is much better!! One year is a very insignificant difference. A relationship with a younger guy is more fun, because a relationship isn't something he's already done 20 times. He will still be excited about being in a relationship and doing new things. He will have lots of energy! Go on and date a hot 21 year old while you still can. It's not something you will be able to do forever.

It may not be the easiest thing to do, but sit down with him and just talk to him and see if he has feelings for you. Sometimes, assumptions and thinking you know things are completely wrong and the only way to really get some sort of idea is to ask - communicate! Experiencing a relationship is what helps you become a good girlfriend. It's a scary thing - especially the first one, but you need to take a risk and go for it! You may look back on it and wish you would have done something different! Good luck!

Im 25 and always dated older men. I married my husband who is 22, and damn did I make the right choice. They are more spontaneous...and have so much of a better sex drive! And I dont believe a male should be older...so so old fashioned thinking. Really, men NEVER mature. So why not grab a hot young one? ;)

I've never really liked older guys. They want to act like they are your daddy. My husband is a year younger than I am. It's very nice compared to being with a guy a few years older. We are learning everything together.

there is nothing wrong with younger!
its cute acctualy! no problem with living at home and schooling he will move when his ready just like you did!!!
it would really only be a problem when there is a vast age difference like you 40 and he 18 or sumthing thats not good! its acctualy like rape! but your situation is nothing like it so have fun and enjoy the ride of life!

only one year? thats just a few months. Should not be a problem at all. Age is just a number anyway.
