If you believe the soul was created long before the body.....?

how was it created and how many, as we have a contantly growing population, is a new soul created for everyone??

The Bible is clear the body then the spirit these become a living soul. Gen. 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

I believe my arr-soul was created long before my body formed around it. Any other "soul" is an illusion created by consciousness, a living flame feeding on the substance of the body as fragile as the software in a computer. Where will this writing go when all computers are switched off - the same place
as the soul!!

Right. I believe that;
1; the soul has many lives in different bodies over many centuries
2; that each time the soul incarnates it is to learn a lesson, when the body dies the soul has a holiday before the next incarnation, either to re-learn the previous lesson or continue on to a new one.
3; the purpose of each soul is to become perfect, it then transcends to where-ever heaven may be.
4; there are new and not so new souls.
5; a soul that lives a bad life will pay for it in future lives until the debt is finished and it can progress forward.

The Bible usage shows the soul to be a person or an animal or the life that a person or an animal enjoys.

Gen. 2:7: "Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life=, and the man came to be a living soul." (Notice that this does not say that man was given a soul but that he became a soul, a living person.)

I don't view as a 1 to 1 ratio...I've thought about this same question myself. I think there is a big one-ness of energy or soul or spirit or whatever, that kinda incorporates everything. From that singularity, some of it is placed in you, and some in me, and some for each person and every other thing in the universe. When you die, you go back to that oneness which represents nirvana...although you can attain that state of oneness while you are here if you look inward.

A body is energized to perform only after the Said soul is initialized.

The soul is no entity as such but can be left behind excactly as a programme is left behind after you have switched off the front end graphics.

and so the Soul can be said to be the energy that carries your mind and all its information.

The creator our Lord God In his Immense Wisdom did not give us the knowledge of the soul cause we may be totally incapable of comprehension and we may lack the substance to comrehend it.. maybe our minds are designed that way.

At first, He was there, dwelling in the absolute. He had all the knowing of Himself but there is no way of realizing it. He knows He is magnificent but for something to be magnificent, there has to be something less magnificent.

We, the little lights within Him, were also feeling the same way. We know we are lights but because we were surrounded by the big Sun, there's no way we will ever know. A light can only shine when surrounded by darkness.

So, there came the Great collaboration. We had to split up, God to dwell in the absolute while we were to dwell in the relative. God exploded into infinite cells as we individualized ourselves. As we lowered our vibrating speeds, we crystallized into physicality and called upon us limitations for us to be defined. The relative world began expanding as we create the realm of light and darkness, of up and down, of bad and good, of heaven and earth, etc. As we realize ourselves, we look up to Him for point of reference. As He realizes Himself, He bends down to us and embraces all the ways we define ourselves.

Now, to answer your question about new souls created, think of it this way. Imagine the smallest particle you can think of. Now cut that particle into half. Now cut the two small particles in half. Cut the four particles again. And again... Is there a limit to how small anything could be? The other way around, is there a limit to how magnificent anything could be? The more something approaches infinity, the more it gets undefined. The more something approaches infinity, the more it comes close to the realm of God. As we find more and more ways of defining ourselves, God becomes more and more realized and magnificent. Then the universe keeps on expanding and redefining its boundaries.

And we could witness trillions of life were released from other galaxy in form of light of which every star is burning. FIRE and BURNING is a process of transform of life from one form to another form before they occupy a new body and we refer them as a new name.

The combination of many-many life would form a NEW LIFE and every life were given a name. For example, The life of ONE Chicken is the combination of Trillions of smaller life known to us as ANT, LARVA, NUT, SNAIL, WORMS, GRASS, LEAF, BUG so on and so on.

Imaging the SOUL of SINGLE INDIVIDUAL is a combination of trillions of life and man's life is higher then other life because man's soul were combine with MIND another kind of LIFE which were exist long-long time before Adam were created.
