If you're talking about any regular ol' ex, then it depends. Could be one month, one year, three years. It just depends on how quickly you find new happiness, or how well you can cope with the repercussions of the break-up.

It is only up to u. Don't think about him. Meet with ur old friends, develop new hobbies, read good books. Go for a picnic with ur old friends, do meditation. Delete everything related to him. Don't send any message to him.
Sometime u remember the time spend with him but be clear in urself that it was a past.
Start searching yourself. After all u have own individuality.

UGH- totally feel your pain.
It usually depends on how long the relationship was. It usually takes me 2 years to get in a new relationship. I'm in a great one right now and could give a S^%$ about any x's-
hang in there- if I found her you will too :)

It varies. How long together, married, kids etc. Emotions like this are very individual and depend on what support and approach one takes. But it seems each one will scar your soul to some degree. Best of luck!

uhmm depends on how you act. If you stay home thinking about him etc... that would take long, if you go out, its not that would be faster but eassier. It took me like 2 weeks being ploff till i got out and see what else was in life then it was like 2days :P so yep it took me 2 weeks and 2days
