I find it amazing how many people do not use the Check Spelling feature before they submit a question, Don't you????

your question is interesting - as a professional translator, I use it all the time.
but there lurks a danger here, which you may note when reading a newspaper article, for example. it appears that the 'proof-reader' has become extinct, as most people rely on the spell check. but they forget that the syntax and the context require checking, too. a spell check will pass on "honey" when perhaps the writer meant "money"; this is especially important when using languages such as italian and spanish, where infinitives and past participles are just one letter different, and all nouns have a gender.
btw, don't jump on me for not using caps!!!!

I do, if I'm not sure of a word's spelling. Most times I use words I know how to spell. There's a few I'm not sure about and I use spell checker when those come up.

I use Mozilla Firefox, which has a built-in spell checker that is always running. It's quite handy.
